Have you heard about 3D printing, but still wonder where the paper goes? Are you a designer working on a project that could benefit from rapid prototyping (i.e. making a prototype really fast)?

In the first of this two-class workshop, we’ll explore the underlying processes of 3D printing and 3D scanning.

In the second class, on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m., you’ll learn about 3D modeling and using design software that’s freely available on the internets. You’ll create an object and print it on the printers.

Bring a laptop to the second class. A DC Public Library library card is required to print your object.

Please meet in the Digital Commons area.
