Animal Sculptures of Dupont Circle
Party Animals and PandaMania may be long gone, but some of the hundreds of donkeys, elephants, and pandas that invaded D.C. in the early 2000s remain. This walking tour will explore these and other animal sculptures in the Dupont Circle area.
We will walk about 3 miles at a leisurely pace on paved surfaces. Here’s the approximate route.

Geoff Patterson is a KCDC organizer, avid trail runner, and general outdoor enthusiast. When he’s not reading historical fiction, explorer nonfiction, or for KCDC’s Queer Book Club, he is constantly looking for suggestions to add to his never-ending reading queue. (It’s more a stack than a queue; but all that really clarifies is that it’s hard to shake the nerdiness of a day job in software!)
