Art for the Outdoorsman: Mixed Media
Want to go out to the park and paint happy trees like Bob Ross? In this two-part series, you will learn to draw and paint landscapes through a combination of multiple mediums, including watercolor, pastel, pencil, charcoal, and pen.
If you have a large pad of paper, pastels, pencils, watercolors, water cups, brushes, palettes, charcoal, and/or a large hard surface, please bring those to class.
There is a $5 materials fee for this course.
This is a two part course. Students are expected to attend both sessions.

Megan McNitt works for the DC Public Library. She started making art in earnest during the economic downturn of 2009 to help her relax. She comes from a family of artists, scientists, and musicians. Megan draws, paints, and makes jewelry.
