Learn the basics of puppet performance from D.C.’s Pointless Theatre, a company that uses puppets in its genre-bending spectacles. Pointless members will explain puppetry terminology and demonstrate some fundamental techniques of puppet manipulation. You’ll practice with Pointless’ “Hugos” — cardboard puppets controlled by a group — but you’re welcome to bring puppets of your own, if you like.
