Nelle Pierson painted these beautiful postcards as an end-of-year thank-you for WABA’s 6,500 members.

The Washington Area Bicyclist Association, affectionately known as WABA, is a bicycle advocacy and education nonprofit working for better bike laws, better bike lanes, better bike trails, and better bicyclists throughout the D.C. region. Their mission is to create a healthy, more livable region by promoting bicycling for fun, fitness, and affordable transportation; advocating for better bicycling conditions and transportation choices for a healthier environment; and educating children, adults, and motorists about safe bicycling.

On this tour of their Adams Morgan headquarters, you’ll learn about their recent wins, their future plans, and how you fit in!
