Taking cues from bentos — Japanese packed lunches — we’ll teach you how to elevate your pre-made midday meal to an elegance level far beyond PB&J. You’ll learn to incorporate bento preparation techniques into your present cooking habits, using ingredients available locally.

This is not a cooking class, though you will learn some simple recipes that could serve as a starting point. It’s more of a workshop, so come prepared to talk about the foods you’d like to bento-ize.
