BK Adams Artist Studio Tour
“When you talk about creating, it isn’t that complicated if you think of the nature of creating. What’s complicated is the experience you bring to it.” — BK Adams
Shown on street signs, at Smithsonians, and in neighborhood cafes, BK’s work has become part of the landscape of the District. On this tour of his studio space, he’ll explain his process and his relationship to the materials he scavenges, reclaims, and repurposes in the creation of his art. If the weather is good, he’ll lead the group along the nearby railroad tracks to explore the landscape that helps inspire his work.
