British Television Appreciation
If you’re tired of being jerked around by “Downton Abbey” and are obsessively ticking off the days until “Sherlock” returns on the 19th, join us for an introduction to proper British telly — the stuff you won’t neccessarily see on BBC America or PBS. You’ll learn about the best and worst shows in a variety of genres; where to find said shows; and how to understand what the heck the actors/contestants/hosts/narrator/snooker announcers are talking about. Tea and biscuits will be served.
