If you’re tired of being jerked around by “Downton Abbey” and feel “Sherlock’s” gotten irredeemably bromantic, join us for an introduction to proper British telly — the stuff you won’t neccessarily see on BBC America or PBS. You’ll learn about the best and worst shows in a variety of genres; where to find said shows; and how to understand what the heck the actors/contestants/hosts/narrator/snooker announcers are talking about. Tea and biscuits will be served.
