A Class(y) Workshop

date Sunday, 30 September 2012 time 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

👤 Knowledge Commons DC 🏢 Radistan

KCDC works because interesting people share what they know. Our teachers range from university professors to passionate amateurs. If you’re interested in teaching or programming, join us to celebrate the end of our exciting September session and help create an even better class list for January .

We’ll be gathering to “workshop” classes. If you have an idea (or are just generally interested in teaching), seasoned facilitators will be on hand to help bring your class to fruition. We can help with narrowing down your topic, creating a syllabus, finding a space or materials, and any other questions you might have. For those with less teaching experience, this is also an opportunity to get to know other teachers, pick up some tips on peer to peer learning, basic classroom management, and creative knowledge sharing.

If you want to work with teachers—helping us find and develop interesting classes—we will also discuss the best ways to do so.
