Collaborative Learning Brainstorming Session

date Wednesday, 12 September 2012 time 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

👤 Chris Simpson 🏢 Petworth Neighborhood Library

Past

Collaborative learning and peer learning emphasize participatory, ‘social’ education rather than assembly line teaching. Examples in DC include Knowledge Commons DC, DC Learning Collective, SkillShare, P2PU, and many others, both formal and informal. There are hundreds of other examples worldwide, especially in Europe and in economically developing countries. This session brings together interested folks from many disciplines to actively brainstorm, critique, and help build a future of peer learning and collaborative learning in the Washington area. Network building encouraged.
