Crunch Time for Taxes! DIY Taxes for Those Who Put It Off
This interactive class will cover the history of U.S. tax policy and go through a step-by-step tutorial on how to complete the forms for free (for those with income less than $60,000 a year).
Then, get ready for a tax game in which YOU are the contestant — don’t worry, you’ll be armed with all of the information you’ll need to win. You’ll learn about the many tax credits/deductions you may be eligible to receive, and about how the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) might affect your returns.

During the day, you might find her conducting research on meat processing plants for the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union.
