When and how do you make time for yourself? Many of us lead busy, over-scheduled lives. Developing a home yoga practice can help you stay grounded and present.

Whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, this class will give you strategies for cultivating a personal practice. Learn about different breathing (pranayama) and meditation exercises, poses (asanas), and self-care regimens. You will leave with a manageable routine for your home practice, attuned to your schedule and needs.

There will be some light movement appropriate for all levels. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat, if you have one.

This class is presented in partnership with DC Public Library.
