You’ll find out how to properly store food in your fridge to maximize freshness and shelf life with an interactive demo from the Arlington Food Assistance Center; participate in a quiz with EatOrToss blogger Rachael Jackson in which you will judge if blemished, bruised, or sprouted produce is safe to eat and learn how you can make accurate judgments in the future; and learn and taste how you can make great dishes from ingredients you may be throwing away.
