Demystifying Creativity
We often think of creativity as something mysterious, a product of whimsy and serendipity. On the contrary, creativity isn’t beyond the study of science. Creative individuals exhibit very specific, testable traits that predispose them to success. The question is really, “is there a logic to creativity?” We have found that the answer is resoundingly “yes.”
This class will survey the research that supports this hypothesis and demonstrate how ThirstDC has incorporated it. We’ll conclude by discussing how these ideas can be used to foster increasingly creative communities.
