Effective Advocacy for D.C. Statehood
This class is for anyone interested in continuing the 200-year-old struggle for voting rights in the District.
We’ll cover some background on the current state of the voting rights/statehood movement before identifying the kinds of actions that will help Washingtonians get closer to equal rights. One of the goals is to become more skilled at educating others and responding to common objections.
This class is presented in partnership with DC Public Library.
