This introductory class will teach you how to use the running stitch, back stitch, and chain stitch to make your text-based embroidery dreams come true. Create a monogram, a name, an initial, lyrics, or a motto!

Bring your own embroidery materials (a hoop, needle, embroidery floss, and muslin fabric). If you don’t have those items, you can borrow a set from the teacher.

Look for the class in Room A-3.

This class is presented in partnership with DC Public Library.
