Explorative Jogging: Rock Creek Park
This new edition of Explorative Jogging will explore some of Rock Creek Park’s hidden gems, including:
- a road that’s been abandoned for 20 years;
- piles of sandstone and marble from a mid-century renovation of the U.S. Capitol;
- a creek-hopping, rainforest-like trail that runs east-to-west across the park;
- a hidden, highly secure Rockefeller mansion;
- the former Yugoslavian Ambassador’s residence.
This will be a slow-paced, leisurely run, and you can peel off at any time.
