Maimouna Youssef, aka Mumu Fresh, is a D.C.-based, Grammy-nominated singer, emcee, songwriter, activist, mentor, and workshop facilitator. Maimouna has recorded six solo and group albums, acts for TV and film, and mentors aspiring young artists. She recently launched her own artist development company, MKY Entertainment Group.

Timothy Anne Burnside is a Museum Specialist in Curatorial Affairs at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of African American History and Culture. Timothy's work expands on common ideas of what kinds of objects museums can and should display, and what stories those objects tell. She explores intersections between history, culture, and activism through the lenses of music and performing arts, and contemporary culture.

John-John Williams IV has worked for The Baltimore Sun since 2005. He joined the paper as an education reporter covering everything from cheating scandals to inappropriate teacher behavior. He then joined the features desk, where he has covered fashion and pop culture for the past three years.
