American whiskey is a distinctive spirit. It has won wars, healed body and soul when medicine couldn’t be found, and is just generally bad ass. And when you know where your whiskey comes from and how it’s made, it tastes better.

Over the past decade, craft distilleries have emerged outside Kentucky, and the range of flavors and distilling techniques is expanding. Whether it starts life as pure wheat, blue corn, or even quinoa, whiskey deserves your support!

In this class, you’ll sample four craft whiskeys, identifying the major characteristics of each through the practical application of nose, taste, and finish. The mythical, practical, and historical aspects of this timeless spirit will be unlocked for the betterment of all.

This class has a $10 materials fee.
