Learn to arrange flowers with ease with Kathy Jentz, editor of Washington Gardener Magazine. In this hands-on class, you’ll put together a charming flower arrangement using the bounty of your own garden or with flowers we’ll provide.

After we go over basics like container selection, how to get flowers to last longer, design techniques, and stretching your flower budget, you’ll learn the hand-tied method of flower arranging and make an arrangement of your own to take home in a small glass jar.

If you’re able, please bring flowers cut from your own garden to work into your finished arrangement. (We’ll also provide flowers, but would love to have more to work with!) No prior florist experience is required.
