Hard-hitting GIF journalism.

GIFs aren’t just for fandom anymore! Now a staple on news sites and online forums, GIFs are a low-bandwidth tool that can go where videos won’t fit, and say what still images can’t.

Learn how to make them yourself using Photoshop and QuickTime in an easy-to-understand tutorial that even newbies can follow. You’ll also learn about sharing GIFs and review some of the sites, such as Tumblr, that are great places to share your creations.

The class will meet in the Digital Commons area.

This class is presented in partnership with DC Public Library.
