Go Fly a Kite!
Come to SCRAP DC, your friendly neighborhood creative re-use shop, and learn the basic ideas and techniques behind kite-building — sure to impress your friends, children, and colleagues. We’ll be using fabric, yarn, glue, and rods to make a simple diamond-shaped variety. With some flight practice, you’ll be set for the annual Cherry Blossom Kite Festival on March 29.
There will be a $5 materials fee for this class.
