Guerilla Gardening

date Saturday, 31 March 2012 time 1 p.m.

Melissa Gran

Past

Guerilla gardening is urban ecological subversion. It is about repurposing unused earth to create beauty, oxygen, and food. In this class, we will be learning to make as well as dispersing seed bombs and experimenting with moss graffiti. We will also talk about the evolution of the urban food growing movement and the different theories behind guerilla gardening. Resistance is fertile!

Some materials will be provided, but bringing seeds or other materials would help! Wear something you can get dirty in and sturdy shoes, as we will be doing a little exploring.
