Waldo excels at immersing himself into an ecosystem. You can too. (Photo by Matt Colombo.)

Do you want to immerse yourself in the ecosystem, or be an alien visitor? Our lives often reinforce our dulled senses and prevent us from the full sensory experience of nature.

On this walk through the woods, you’ll learn where the animals hang out, why that tree looks kind of funny, and how to turn a hike into an adventurous learning experience. Afterward, the only issue you’ll have will be hiking without stopping every five feet!

We’ll talk about the many things the ecosystem can tell us — including wind direction, animal behavior, plant identification, and orienting yourself to the sun — and the proper mindset to absorb this bounty of the senses.
