Join Sonia Booth, a member of the education staff at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, for a tour and discussion of the special exhibition “Some Were Neighbors: Collaboration and Complicity in the Holocaust.”

In the past, much Holocaust history and scholarship focused on the victims and the perpetrators of the Holocaust. This show expands the lens to look at all the others who needed to be involved for the Holocaust to occur: local policemen, neighbors, teachers, friends, civil servants. The tour will touch on the thinking behind the organization and layout of “Some Were Neighbors,” and describe different educational tools used in the exhibition.
