In this class, you’ll learn basic principles and practical techniques for planning and executing social events using Meetup.com. If you’re looking to become a Meetup organizer, co-organizer, or event host, or you simply need help throwing awesome social events, this class is planned for you. The skills covered will also apply to events outside of Meetup.

Bring your event planning questions and project ideas, and come prepared to discuss your favorite types of events. You’ll leave with an understanding of how events work, why people host and attend events, and how to plan and coordinate all facets of an event.

This class will meet in the Digital Commons Dream Lab.
