Introduction to Capoeira Angola
This Capoeira course will begin with one half hour of music. All class participants will get a chance to play the instruments that accompany playing Capoeria. During this time, we will discuss Capoeira’s origins in slavery during the colonization of Brazil. Following the music, we will learn basic capoeira movements and the art of “seeing everything by looking at nothing.”
