This course offers practical investigative journalism techniques useful in many types of social research. American University School of Communications Professor Chris Simpson delves into both tried and true and cutting edge research methods, including both online and shoe-leather tools. The 90 minute session will focus on students’ own projects. Please bring a computer or other mobile web device and come prepared to dig.
