Past

This is a hands-on crash course in iPhone and iPad photography and filmmaking: how to take better pictures and video with your mobile device and how you can better use it for your business, organization, newspaper, blog, or personal endeavors. You’ll be producing a series of pictures and a perhaps a short video with a partner, and getting real-time feedback and critique. We’ll go through some popular apps and accessories for stills and video, some that you’ve heard of and some that you may not have. We’ll be giving some tips and tricks to develop better shooting techniques while sticking to basics - whether it’s journalism or art that you’re interested in, we’ll be tailoring feedback and technique to individual needs and aptitudes. We’ll also be reviewing video editing apps but will not be editing in-class. You should bring your own iPhone or iPad.
