Kumihimo, or “gathered threads,” is a form of braiding that originated in Japan. It is super easy to learn and very versatile.

In this class, you’ll learn how to create your own kumihimo loom and use it to make a bracelet, similar to (but not the same as) the old friendship bracelets you might have made in elementary school. You’ll also learn variations and techniques to make necklaces and belts (as well as anything else that could use a decorative cord).

This class has a $5 materials fee. Please bring cash and an extra pair of scissors if you have one.
