Kitchen Ninja Skills: Fruits & Vegetables
To become more proficient in the kitchen, the first step is proper knife skills. In this hands-on class with the creator of the Mango & Tomato food blog, you’ll learn how to properly chop common fruits and vegetables and gain the confidence to apply these techniques at home to ensure your food looks, cooks, and tastes great.
Produce will be provided by Washington’s Green Grocer, and there are a few things you’re encouraged to bring:
- A cutting board and chef’s knife (it’s best to practice with your own)
- One fruit or vegetable you’d like to learn learn how to cut
- Containers or bags if you’d like to take your fresh-cut produce home
You’ll also be asked to sign a waiver; we’ll have copies available at the class.
