Light painting uses long exposures and your light source of choice to create beautiful canvases out of thin air. This class is for all those hoping to experiment, explore, and capture light on digital film. We’ll take advantage of the familiar DC nightscape as our backdrop and move around as the outdoor conditions allow. I’ll have some basic tools, but bring your own digital camera (make sure you know how to adjust your exposure). Also, flashlights, bike lights, glow sticks, light sabers, and tripods are all welcome–the more we have to play with the better!
