Make a Graffiti Nameplate for Mom

date Saturday, 11 May 2013 time 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

👤 Rajan Sedalia 🏢 Brookland Artspace Lofts

Past

Graffiti artists work for years to find their own tagging style, which becomes just as recognizable as their actual names. Picture Cool “Disco” Dan in your head, and you’ll inevitably see what we mean.

Come find your own graffiti-writing style and make a great Mother’s Day present in the process. We’ll learn to recognize abstract forms, create and stylize letters based on those forms, and use these skills to create poster-board nameplates for moms. If you have your own markers, bring them along — really thick ones are best.
