Taught by two certified tax volunteers, this interactive class will cover the history of U.S. tax policy and go through a step-by-step tutorial on how to complete the forms for free (for those with income less than $60,000 a year).

Then, get ready for a tax game in which YOU are the contestant — don’t worry, you’ll be armed with all of the information you’ll need to win. You’ll learn about the many tax credits/deductions you may be eligible to receive, and about how the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) might affect your returns.

This class is presented in partnership with DC Public Library.
