Needlepoint — a type of embroidery stitched into stiff canvas — originated in ancient Egypt and is therefore way more badass than the “Bless This Home” signs with which it’s so tragically associated. Join us for a hands-on introduction to this time-tested art form, using a plastic canvas that’s easy for newbies to handle. You’ll leave with a bookmark and the know-how to attempt more ambitious works. We’ll help you design patterns for future projects as well.

There will be a $5 fee for materials.
