Networks, Privacy, Anonymity, and Censorship. For Fun!
In four sessions you’ll learn how modern computers communicate with each other, how they form networks, and networks connect into internets. We’ll cover both wired and wireless networks, network hardware, protocols, and visualization and testing tools. After we cover the basics, we’ll explore how hostile networks threaten users’ privacy and can censor and falsify information that users request. But we’ll close by covering techniques and tools for staying private, anonymous, and secure online.
