Planting your own garden can be a healthy, sustainable, and fun learning experience. And if things work out, the all-you-can-eat veggie buffet is included at no extra charge.

In this class, you’ll learn how to make your first gardening effort successful and stress-free. We’ll cover the types of edible plants that grow best in our Mid-Atlantic region; best practices for timing, crop succession, starting from seed or seedling; and much more.

Veteran edible gardeners are also welcome to attend, and we hope you’ll leave with both renewed enthusiasm and great new tips and techniques to enhance your garden.

This class is presented in partnership with DC Public Library.
