Join us for an overview of writers who deeply influenced today’s Argentine literary scene. Nenet, your teacher, will introduce and contextualize Argentine poets within the sociopolitical situation of the country. Then you’ll read and discuss works by such figures as Juan Gelman; gay activist Néstor Perlongher; and Juana Bignozzi, from the Communist poetry group El Pan Duro. You’ll also get to know contemporary poets such as Sergio Raimondi and Martin Gambarotta.
