D.C. summers might make you feel like you’re the Wicked Witch of the West. With that idea in mind, we’re organizing a pop up museum on theme of “melting.”

A pop up museum is a temporary exhibit created on the fly by those who show up at the designated time and place. To participate, bring an object that relates to melting (however you choose to interpret that), or come up with a five-minute performance on the topic.

The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We’ll start accepting objects at 9:45 a.m.

Everyone: Please, no open flame. Your object or performance should not cause destruction beyond its own confines. The object or performance should be family-friendly.

Performers: Please submit your idea and preferred time slot via this form.

Want to attend or bring an object? Sign up here or RSVP to our Facebook event.
