Propaganda & Culture II: Overcoming Systematic Disinformation
Join us for a discussion and participatory brainstorming session that examines how and why social institutions generate disinformation that is often embraced as truthful, accurate, or ‘correct.’ What are the relationships between propaganda and social change? Do grand narratives actually affect day-to-day living and consciousness? Resource sharing and networking on these subjects are encouraged.
The discussion is designed for people who have explored the interaction of social structure, media, and social change, and would like to share the challenge of making sense of it.
