Road Trip! Exploring the Murals of Richmond
Over the past two years, international artists have sprayed, splattered, and painted a series of murals in Richmond. We’ll visit 28 of them on a six-mile outdoor walking tour of downtown. The itinerary includes interviews with artists and curators; along the way, we’ll discuss the changing role of graffiti and what it means when art is imported.
A sliding fee of $5-$10 will go toward parking and gas.

Erika Rydberg, a D.C. transplant from the northernly lands of Boston, got involved with Knowledge Commons DC after an awesome experience in a Brookline, Mass., community skillshare during her college days. By day she works at a library and by night she can be found performing poetry, listening to music, or cooking copious amounts of vegetarian food.
