In Security 101: Protect Yourself Online, you learned the basics of keeping your online privacy intact. (If you didn’t, that’s OK. You can still take this class.) What about the files that live on your physical device, and/or in the cloud?

In this class, we will discuss ways to set up encrypted storage — to protect files so that only you can access them. We’ll cover the program TrueCrypt, explain its limitations, and go over alternatives.

Look for us in the Digital Commons Dream Lab.

This class is presented in partnership with DC Public Library.
