Taking Photography to the Streets

date Saturday, 15 June 2019 time 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

👤 Mukul Ranjan 🏢 National Portrait Gallery

Past

Life in the city is dynamic, quirky, and unpredictable. People are moving and things are happening around you all the time. Are you fascinated by people and do you wish you had the tools and the nerve to point your camera and share your experience but did not know where to start?

This workshop will lead you on a walk and give you tips on how to capture those magic moments — spotting them and being quick enough to catch them. After an initial discussion and sharing of ideas, we’ll shoot in the streets with in-the-field instructions and question and answer. The workshop will conclude with a discussion and plans to share the photos taken.

Please bring any type of camera you are proficient and comfortable with.

This class is presented in partnership with Exposed DC.
