D.C. has some of the strongest tenant protections in the U.S., but these laws can’t help you if you don’t know your rights. This overview of tenants’ rights in the District will cover security deposits, eviction, rent control, rent increases, landlord obligations, and many other topics. Come prepared with questions about your own landlord situations, and we’ll help you through! Well-wishing landlords are also welcome.
