Past

It’s been exactly 40 years since July 18, 1973, the day when President Nixon’s staff turned off the White House audio recording system.

We’ll watch All the President’s Men, a 1976 film starring Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman. Take a look back at the Watergate scandal and at the Washington Post journalists who helped make sense of a skein of secrets. You’ll also learn how not to use duct tape if you’re trying to burglarize the headquarters of a major political party.

All the President’s Men is rated PG. It contains scenes of intense typewriter use, flowerpots bearing hidden messages, and conspiracies at the highest levels.
