Funders and partners
This project is made possible by StorefrontsDC, a transformative initiative that activates vacant spaces and increases foot traffic in Washington, D.C., neighborhoods through an infusion of cultural projects. Led by CulturalDC, StorefrontsDC is supported by The National Endowment for the Arts, the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and the Ron Abramson Family Foundation. The property for Knowledge Commons DC’s Pop-up Learning Space has been generously donated by The Menkiti Group.
Many thanks to Rhode Island Ave NE Main Street, Langdon Park Community Association, and our neighbors in Brookland and Langdon for their support. We’re grateful to our teachers, volunteers, and especially students for having helped build KCDC.
