Get ready to learn about Ukrainian linguistics, history, culture, and politics. You’ll get hands-on practice using Ukrainian words and Cyrillic characters. We’ll talk about the differences and similarities between the Russian and Ukrainian languages, as well as why the “language question” has recently become one of the most polarizing issues in Ukrainian politics. Some even are calling to shift the Ukrainian alphabet from Cyrillic to a Latin-based script. Come find out why!
