Waste Not: Food Waste, Resource Conservation, and You

date Wednesday, 21 October 2015 time 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

👤 Will Reid 🏢 KCDC Pop-Up Learning Space

Past

The American food industry discards 150 million pounds of food every day — the equivalent of 523 Titanics per year!

This class will review the causes of food waste and ways to reduce it, debunking myths along the way. (For example, is the food you are throwing out actually bad?) In addition, you’ll learn how to co-opt this system of entitlement to help feed the world and save the environment, and how to limit your participation in systems of economic oppression.
